It is Christmas in July and you are invited to the party! Welcome to the new BrainPad website and community forums.

The new website has a built in project section. We working with partners on building this new section for the entire community.

Speaking of Community, we also have just launched a community platform dedicated for teachers. This is going to be the only place you need to discuss STEM, computer science and physical computing with other teachers around the world. So hop right in and say hi community.brainpad.com/

Please let us know what you like or dislike under “Suggestions & Feedback” https://community.brainpad.com/c/suggestions-feedback

Best wishes,

The BrainPad team at GHI Electronics

What is even more exiting about this new website/community platforms is that comments made on the community forum will show up on the website.

Only comments from trusted users will show up on the main website. The system is trained to automatically trust you after you have been around and have shown good behavior.

That’s really neat actually @gus_issa!

It took me a while to spot that the comments on this community post are linked to this blog post

Does creating a new blog post automagically create a new topic in the announcement category too?

Welcome to the community @domhnall

Both post/blog link to each other, you may have missed the links. Yes, it is automated but restricted to new users for safety.

Are you a teacher by any chance?

Thanks Gus,

It’s very impressive. Is it a Discourse or WordPress plugin or something you’re rolled yourselves?

I actually taught a variety of STEM subjects for 10 years but I’m working for a software company these days. I’m a big fan of any visual programming tools as the allow users to achieve a lot in a very short space of time.

(Sorry for veering off-topic)

We did a combination of all above.

You are welcome to share info about your company with others. If it helps STEM it is welcome here. And let us know if we can help.
